The recipe behind the Stepway is refreshingly simple, because it's essentially a regular Sandero with increased ground clearance, chunkier tyres and protective body mouldings. You know, the kind of things that make sense on a large percentage of Britain's back roads.

Practicality and versatility are what the Sandero Stepway has been built on. The raised ride height makes for effortless progress when tackling country roads, while the chunkier tyres do an excellent job of dealing with imperfections on the road.

The boot space is the same as the Sandero supermini, with 348 litres at your disposal. However, an adjustable boot floor and modular roof bars ensure you have plenty of flexibility when transporting larger items.
