How To Save A Video Tweet

The drama surrounding a potential Francis Ngannou vs. Jon Jones fight continues to unfold. A few things are clear: Jones wants the fight. Ngannou wants the fight. And both men would like to be paid what they’re worth to a megafight.

Jones has been very active on social media of late, calling out the UFC and Dana White along with posting training videos. Today, he changed it up a bit and brought a little levity to his game. He posted of a TikTok of military best friends meeting up again after a long time apart. But he sent it to Dana and added a very humorous caption:

Does this mean that the UFC and Jones are any closer to a deal? Maybe, maybe not. It seems more likely that it’s just Jones trying to bring some humor to the situation and attempting to not take himself so seriously. Regardless of his intentions, the bout has not been put to paper as of yet and the UFC has intimated that they’re moving past Jones and looking at an Ngannou vs. Derrick Lewis matchup instead.
